Academic integrity

Academic Integrity Policies and Laws:
Academic integrity is an ethical symbol that entails the trainee's commitment to ethical
values and academic honesty in order to achieve academic success and excellence. One of the most
important pillars of academic integrity is to achieve the concept of honesty and respect for the
intellectual efforts of the center and others, while completely avoiding all forms of cheating, forgery,
impersonation, or any other act that violates the concept of academic integrity. Academic integrity is the
trainee's commitment to high ethical values and academic honesty, responsibly achieving their
academic success.
Academic integrity is the heart and foundation of society, and it determines people's credibility in
dealing with each other, and in trusting the responsible individuals in higher positions and centers. As
education and training are investments in the trainee's future, if the trainee does not preserve the
treasure of honesty in their training and academic journey, they will undoubtedly diminish their own
value and the value of the education they have been pursuing, and consequently, the value of their
certificate will be lost.

Forms of Academic and Scientific Integrity Violations:
The types of actions that are considered a violation of the standards and principles of
academic integrity vary, including:
• Cheating: copying others' work and using any notes, information, or materials in exams or other
assigned tasks that are not permitted for trainees.
• Intellectual theft/plagiarism: using others' phrases and works without permission in intellectual
orliterary blogs or in any information in any test without acknowledging them as a reference.
• Misuse of academic assistance: exploiting a fellow trainee who provides academic assistance with
good intentions by copying from a special report they prepared or from an old test without informing
them.
• Exploitation of cooperation: relying on another trainee in their group to complete a joint task/work or
exploiting another trainee to complete individual assignments.
• Fabrication and forgery: altering or fabricating available information in a test/assignment or
presenting a forged medical certificate in order to be absent.
• Impersonation: claiming to be someone else inside the classroom, in a test or exam, or in
any academic assignment.

Disciplinary Measures for Identity Theft and Cheating:
After verifying the violations referred to it, the disciplinary committee is entitled to impose one or more
of the following penalties:
• Oral warning and documenting it in a written undertaking or written warning.
• Temporary deprivation of participation in training activities or some services at the center.
• Cancellation of the subject or subjects in cases of cheating or attempted cheating.
• Suspension from the training program.
• Cancellation of the training program for the trainee.
